Accrington Stanley are now recruiting Ground Safety Stewards and SIA Security Staff in preparation for the 2007/08 season. The salaried roles are part time and free NVQ2 training will be provided.

Speaking about the positions Safety Officer Mick Schultz said "We tried to run the stewarding ourselves at the start of season but with all the changes that playing in the Football League brought it proved to be quite difficult, and so we ended up choosing to work with an outside firm for most of the year. This season we are confident that we have everything in place to administer the operation ourselves and so we are looking for responsible individuals with excellent communication skills to be the public face of Accrington Stanley on a match day. In return we offer a competitive rate of pay and a fantastic opportunity to be involved with a professional Football League club!"
