Looks easy to navigate and professional, just could do with widening the column to full screen possibly? Go to site and hey presto, new shirts on as well.

In Firefox everything is over to the left of the screen leaving a big gap on the right, To be honest i prefered the sidebar menu.

Looks perfect in my firefox

Can you see adverts down the right hand side?

Re: Fishy site thoughts please

Yes there are adverts but after the page thats displayed (which is not centered its all to the left) there is a lot of the red bacground at the right side of the display, The page is roughly 3/4 the size in width of the screen and not centered.

The site template is 700 pixels wide a similar size to the BBC news website. If your desktop resolution is 1024 x 768, then the site will only occupy 3/4 of your screen.
This is done to make the site compatable with 99% of computer monitors. If, for instance the template was set as a percentage of the window size, and the internet window was full screen, then the site would look very odd on different monitor resolutions.
My monitor for example is widescreen with a resolution of 1440 x 900 and the fishy site would be unusable to me if the template was say 90% - 100% of the window size. I have to use a half screen window for this message board, because in full screen the lines of text are too long, making me lose track.

I hope thats not too techy.

As it is, the site looks more professional and and easier to navigate. in my opinion.

Re: Fishy site thoughts please

Well put.. thats exactly the reasoning behind the size.. I could have made it what would be termed "liquid" so it stretches and/or retracts to your resolution but decided I would rather it stays the same size as with a very high resolution desktop it would look very silly stretching too wide.

Some other sites such as the ptv (spit!) ones are set quite wide and must be a nightmare for low resolution peeps ..

Works well in mac/safari but is very thin on left side. Liquid would be good, more info in more space... hehehe, but what can I say - I rarely get chance to update and improve!

I prefer it to the last one, far more user friendly.
