Re: Gordon Greer (DEFENDER)

It may be just me, but I have serious concerns about our lack of central defensive cover for the coming season. Potential targets come and go and we've still just got Rocky and Mark Roberts! If one of them gets injured or suspended, where do we look? --- Phil Edwards? (height, against the league's big bustlers!) Graham Branch? (pace, against the league's nippy lads!) I've always tried to be calm and keep the faith with Coley's judgement, but it has to be said that just at the moment I feel slightly uneasy. Come on John, set my mind at rest.

Quite correct Oldgobbin. I think we look ok in most areas, but the centre of the defence needs some work yet. It also troubles me that we continue to miss out on transfer targets, just as we did last year.

Re: Gordon Greer (DEFENDER)

We had the worst defence in the league last season and as far as I can see we have only weakened it not strengthened it. If we don't get somebody before the start of the season I think we will be in trouble again. As I have said for a long time If we had a defence we would be dangerous

As we showed last season that we dont lack the goals even when Gary and Ian went. but the defence as a whole cost us.
