Leicester Game

Anybody know when the tickets for the Leicester game go on sale, as somebody told me that they had been told by the club that they were on sale on from 19th July, however there appears to be no mention of this on the website.

I dont think it will be all ticket due to the poor attendance that resulted for the Forest game, however like Macca says if we can drum up enough hype, and with the new roof....hmmmmmm

As stated in an earlier thread only way to hype is to make it cheaper than a normal league 2 game i.e
£10 Adults
£5 Concessions:)

forest game was on tv.

leicester have been splashing the cash, to turn them over would be great.

sadly, i think my boss has booked us all in with one of our clients to the box at spurs to see Everton away.

I may me a scouser and come from a family of blues, but i would rather be watching the stanley.
At least I will be at Wycombe away.
Do wycombe let you take poles in for your flags?

Maybe the club can take the lead try gain maximum publicity, First meaningful game at the "new look" FES, get some promotions on at the Crown, bars open in the ground, first chance for some fans to see the new signings. Get some competitions going in the Observer, Telegraph, Radio Lancs & other Local Radio Stations to win some tickets for the game with articles about Stanley in black & white like our Premiership & Championship neighbours do!
OSC & Ultras can also do their bit mass show of banners and flags ask everyone to come to the ground in a Home Shirt or Red t-shirt create a sea of Red! :):) Really raise the roof literally of course don't think Eric would be too pleased otherwise.:):)

Not sure what you mean is tin pot TM.
Licester ?
or
The League Cup ?

Meself I don`t think either, and a good cup run starting with upsetting a championship side would be a great bonus for the season.

So come on Publicity machine get some hype behind this one.

Neither did Zero, if you read the smallprint. :)

I'm with Zero on this, although I'd prefer a couple of wins in the FA Cup.

Beating Leics would be sweet, though.

Will be interesting to hear the PA announcements at half time if you are winning or full time if you win. Ricky Kirby is a Leicester fan :D

Ricky Kirby - never interesting.

Hayley and Roy Cropper would be good though, have they been invited? I'll just nip round and see if they're available.

Why don`t he take his DJ Drivel down there then ?

Get an announcer who announces who scores our goals and not just the away team.

While the sponsorship deal with the radio station is in operation, you aren't going to get a new announcer.

Oggy - I see we have similar tastes in signatures? ;)

We could stop encouraging him though, he gets very desperate when no-one steps forward for the crossbar challenge. :)

Yeagh we have a habit of making it all ticket for away fans but not for home fans.. so who says it's all ticket for us... I am not suggesting it's not.. It may very well be.. But as far as I know the club haven't (yet?)

Maybe it's ticket only just for the away end... to control the amount of away fans that come up..I can see the Leicester fans fighting over their ticket allocation :D

Re: Leicester Game

when I emailed the club about last season's sponsored shirt, I asked the 'all-ticket' question and was told it was expected to be but not yet confirmed.Checking daily as I want to come up and would be gutted if locked out.

I'm sure after Erics rant in the Observer last week about everything is checked in triple and the club take extra care because they have learned from their mistakes everything will be ok on the building site.:)
