Whilst I welcome the extra revenue this will generate for the club, I feel that the lower league clubs are merely getting crumbs from the banquet table. Some will say that we should be happy that we're getting something full stop, but why don't all the chairmen of leagues One,Two AND the Conference stand up and be counted ?? Without grass roots level football in this country, I fear the lower league system in this country will follow the Scottish lead and pale into obscurity. :(
