Hiya guys,

Just to let you know it's 0-0 here at half-time the usual faces are on, strong side though. Will try and let you know final score but depends on battery lol.

Very good and a great idea if you can't get to a game, but who is Leighton McEwan?

I was more worried by Lea Richardson, but probably not as worried as Leam might be. ;)

It's not anti-English though, our new keeper's old club comes out as "Patrick" twice  - though I suppose that might be an in joke up there.

So what's up with all these strikers we've got? Starting to get a little concerned now!

It does seem odd.. all them attackers and playing two teams of what I am led to believe are part timers... yet no goals.. Roll on saturday.. I get to see whats happening:)

Two of the goals scored against Prescot Cables were from penalties.

At least the first team is not conceding many goals and Mullin and McEvilly are bound to click.

Much as I welcome Lee back, and I'm a big fan, this isn't a given. From the little I remember of Dsane, he'd be a better match for Mullin.

As ever, I await to see how Coley plays it, and how the players respond.

Friendlies are totally pointless, IMHO.

There's already a match report on the Telegraph site: Second Scottish Blank For Stanley (from Lancashire Telegraph). Well filed, Bob Clark!

Just read the report. When all's said and done, Coley's probably using these games to find his best starting XI for when the real business starts. Main thing is it's another game under our belts and we'll have learned a bit more from tonight's efforts!!!!:D:D:banslide:

Partick Thistle fan here, heading through to see you tackle East Fife tomorrow. Hope to run into some of your travelling support at the game.

You do know goals are allowed up here? :)

This is Arbroath's take on the match:

The Courier: Taking you to the heart of sport in Tayside and Fife

Their striker referred to sounds more than a bit useful.

"former Berwick Rangers and fringe Scotland squad keeper Kenny Arthur"

We signed him from non league football last season, he is really quick but was more of a squad player last season as the step up might have come to quick but i expect him to make more of a impact this time around.

Thought we should of won the game last night but it was far from a classic and the result doesn't really mean anything, good luck for the season.
