Ambitious West Yorkshire Premier Division Side Knaresborough Town are proudly looking forward to the visit on Wednesday evening (15th August)of Accrington Stanley who play in the Coca Cola Football League 2 for what will be Knaresborough Town’s last friendly game before the season starts on saturday.

Kick Off at Manse Lane Knaresborough is at 6:45pm.

Can't see it being much of a first team we're sending, as they played Leicester tonight in the Carling Cup. Probably be a reserve side.

I understand that. I was just explaining the situation. I would think that maybe players who didn't get a run out tonight would get a game tomorrow.

Awww bless wish I could make that match as I grew up in Harrogate and spent many a happy day next door in Knaresborough...hope it's a great match :)

An entertaining game last night at manse lane saw Accrington run out 5:2 winners over Knaresborough town..
All at the club would like to thank Accrington for making the journey over and wish them all the best for the comming season.
