Still a few lads out there who have proven themselves at league 2 and could do a job/certainly provide competition for places.

Someone said the French bloke was sat on the bench on Saturday. Not sure if that's true or not.

No TM he was not sat on the bench, but attended the match, he was with Roscoe prior to him doing one. According to Jimmy Bell, he is still on trial.

Mauro Almeida seems to have himself a trial at Swindon in league 1..

He played at Swindon too. A clash with Peacock sent him off to hospital with a bleeding eye.

He must have made a reasonable impression on Paul Sturrock then even though we lost 2-0.

if he wasn't good enough for us and if he wasn't good enough for Morecambe, how can he be good enough for League 1?

Sturro was a top class centre forward he must have seen qualities in Mauro.
