heard on radio this afternoon that the club had been fined for their disciplinary record for last season

Just found it - £5000 and £5000 suspended (£5000 suspended and Evil on the books don't go well together)
Could have been worse, look at Blackburns

Surely the suspensions and fines given out during the season are enough.

Us clubs shouldn't have to dish out cash to the FA so they can pay Sven's wages :( Idiots.

I notice from the link to the F.A. article,from the fines issued and the warning letters sent to all the clubs,only Chelsea out of the "big four" got a warning letter!!! What a joke !!:mad:

After the Anfield game on Sunday,the premier league decide to "drop Rob Styles". I don't suppose the F.A. would care to look at the standard of officials lower down the football pyramid. Maybe then they'd realise where the root of the problems lay!!!

I don't envy referee's at all, they get one glimpse and no replays. Then you get ******* like Andy Gray on Sky with endless replays/angles and even virtual realities, going on about mistakes.
Up until The Sky era, there was only a couple of camera's at a match and mistakes wern't picked up. We as fans were left to be frustrated, gave the Ref some stick then prayed the next mistake was in our favour, more than likley it did.

I'm not a ref or a liner, but I'm pointing out they are only human, we all make mistakes. Top refs make fewer mistakes than lower ones, that's how they climb the ladder.

I can't stand the referees with the huge egos, you know the ones - they walk away from a player waving for him to follow like a dog.

The ref on Sunday for the Blackburn match was appalling, I've seen better in the lower leagues.

But as one person pointed out on the radio - why should lower leagues have inferior refs anyway? Surely, all matches should have an equal standard of referee?

I understood the 5k +5k suspended was for the "Illegible" players last season. I wouldn't expect such a high fine for disciplinary in div 2.

You deserve everything you get. We play an illegible player in the F.A Cup and would of got away with it if we wanted, but we admitted afterwards that we played Steven Turnbull and didn't know he couldn't play because Hartlepool didn't fax us the right information in time. Get chucked out. lose all the money and we haven't win at home since. You play an illegible player and get fined, don't get docked points and as a result we almost get relegated. You should thank your lucky stars the F.A are full of bullsh!tting West Ham fans, so don't moan about a £5,000 fine for being an aggressive team.

And YOU should thank your lucky stars. If we hadn't played a fund raising friendly at your place when you were on the verge of going to the wall, you probably wouldn't even have a club to support.

:D Yes we're really greatful for that - do you actually think you played a big part in "saving" Bury from Niel Warnocks terrible management leading us to be relegated and leaving us with nothing - even the chairman ****ed off. We got through it because of our loyal fans - not because of an attempted fund raise by a team that was laughed at by a milk advert. :rolleyes:
