This Carling Cup

is rather good.

its about a year since we were beating Holker Old Boys and Lancaster in the Co-op Cup and now we are in the last 32 of a national competition.

I just think they want to make sure we've noticed, bless.

Well done anyway, but don't get too tired for Nov 6th, I'd hate to think this was the start of the excuses.
We should be on a roll by then. :)

Just like to keep our close friends and fellow Lancastrians and Conference colleagues up to date.

Thanks very much for thinking of us, I'm sure we will get the chance to repay the favour in the future, hopefully not too far into the future.:)

You speak for yourself matey - "Conference colleagues" indeed! The force is with you guys at the moment and is great to see, but just you watch Coley's heroes fly when we get into our stride.

Why use the word 'when'...surely things aren't that bad...are they?

While we're having this cosy talk amongst old friends noticed Barrow beat Southport, in some league or other, on Monday.
Chris Butler, aka psycho to us, was apparently MOM, till he got sent off.

( Barrow travel to Boston on saturday. :) )

Far from it, just need a bit of fine tuning. :)

Your lot must have improved since the Barnet game, thought you'd never score. :p

There's a lovely word for it - gloating. But remember the old adage "pride comes before a fall":D

Yes well done.

You showed up Sheffield Wednesday who were beaten 3 - 1 at home by Wolves 10 days ago.

Mind you they were slaughtered at home by Wrexham in the Coca Cola Cup only for Stanley to beat Wrexham 5 - 0 a few weeks later.
