nothing in the swansea press.

love it to happen.
A loan deal until Jan 1st would do. Swansea have 2 centre mid's coming back from long term injury next week. That gives them 6 centre mid's in total.

Apparently, Yeovil and Cheltenham both enquired before August deadline day.
As he didnt go any where, suggests they want money for him?

Whilst I'd love to see Craney wearing the Red shirt again, IF there is any truth in the rumour, I could only summise that the club could get him on a loan deal. He'd be a positive signing and would score/create a few valuable goals.

As far as a permanent deal is concerned,I'd think the Swans would want to recoup a good chunk of what they paid us (and Alty albeit indirectly).:(

That said, it is rather mysterious that the link on the Accy Observer site fails !!! Any clues / ideas anyone???

Met a friend from Swansea last Monday, his first words were, "You can have Craney back". He seems to think the money wouldn't be a problem, although I'm sure they'd want something.

A loan deal would be great, love to hear, "My Ian Craney" with the roof. :)

If it was true then it could only be a loan deal until January, although sometimes loan deals are arranged just to pass time until the transfer window re-opens

If the shirt has been recycled I'm sure another one can be created over the weekend and ready in time for his return!!

Swansea's Robbinson and Britton are injured so he will be in their squad for the trip to Leeds but maybe next week a deal can be done.

I don't think he even has a squad number. He certainly didn't at the start of the season.

I've seen a lot of the games he's played for the Swans and can assure you he's been No.29 just last last season.

That may be, but I did obviously mean "this season". Does he have a squad number for this season?
