clayton end

me and my mate were sat in the main stand tonight and although the noise comin from behind the goal was good throughout the game, during the second half in particular the clayton end was immense.

me and my friend both commented on the atmosphere, well done to all the singers/drummer etc

The middle section was really moving when we scored. :D

Logged on to say the same thing, the roof has made a whole world of difference but the fans on the Clayton End last night were a credit to Accy Stanley. Long may it continue Home & Away.... On Stanley On (Show Your Passion 2007!)

I seem to remember last season when a few of the singing section moved to the Whinney Hill and made it an even better atmosphere!is it worth trying it to flank the clayton end?:) But well done last night it was crackling was the atmosphere!:)

There is plenty of noise coming from the Whinney Hill side. May not be singing, but it's far from quiet. Why does everyone have to do the same thing?

The arrival of the roof has certainly raised the noise levels on the Clayton End, but it's more than that...there's an atmosphere, a feeling of solidarity, togetherness, call it what you will, that just wasn't there when the terrace was open to the skies. The gates seem to have gone up by around 300-400 for the last couple of home matches and I reckon most of those "extras" have come onto the Clayton End, judging by how crowded it's been. There seem to be a lot of young 'uns there too, which is an encouraging sign, so maybe the roof is paying dividends already!

No, not singing - biting sarcasm and full blooded witticisms, I'd call it. :)

If we could just borrow Ricky's microphone, now there is a Duck egg. ;)

(Actually, to be fair, he was largely ignorable last night, big improvement)
