Suite open for fans tomorrow.
 

Just thought I would let you chaps know that in lieu of a full sports bar we will have room for fans to come and have a drink before the game. I think the best plan in future is to make a decision on a cut off point and then we can make a solid judgement on access. Although we do have a number of sponsors it has been decided to open up the bar to supporters. But we ask that sponsors areas are not encroached at any time. The areas will be clearly marked.

nice decision Lewis, but on the spot decisions will have very little bearing on numbers attending. People get used to going to one place weekly which is why the Club died a death last season - open one week shut the next! Unless it's advertised and sold well in advance then you'll struggle, sorry mate but there are only around 50 people will read this between you post and and the bar opening. Most will have pre-designs on what their itinerary is tomorrow.

The club house is either for sponsorship, hospitality or not. You can't have it both ways. As Macca says, people will already have their plans and you can't expect them to change from one game to the next. If the sponsorship/hospitality thing works then all well and good, if it's not then abandon it and open the bar up to the fans once again. Personally I'm now quite happy in the nearest pub.
