I was speaking to some fans in the Crown after the Huddersfield game who said that the end will have seats - as well as a roof - next season (to comply with League rules). How many seats in the ground total, do Stanley need next season?

Re: Roof

Yes unless plans for a new stadia are in the pipeline then after 3 years in the football league the stadium has to be all seater.

Re: Roof

Think you only have to be all seater at championship level.

sorry you are right dave.

Re: Roof

All seater Championship only and you 3 years to sort it out.

2000 seats is the requirement so we need another 1000 or so before the end of next season. It is doubtful that the seats would go on the Clayton End and we had a massive argument about this in the summer. There were plans drawn up four years ago for a new stand along the Whinney Hill Side and this was going to be built if we got into the Football League. No news from the club as to any plans although they must surely be fairly advanced by this stage as work would have to begin within the next 9/10 months for work to be completed by May 2009

Re: Roof

What is the 2000 seats number based on Rob ? Is it a percentage of the capacity you have to have done or is it 2000 regardless ?

maccawozzagod 13-11-2007 18:33

Re: Roof

2000 regardless as a minimum requirement Dave. The regs used to be listed on the Confguide website but I can't em anymore!
