Cav injured
Cav will be out until christmas according to the fishy site.
Apparently he's suffering from a hernia. I personally think this is very unlucky for him as he's having possibly his best spell in a Stanley shirt at the moment, since Coley started using wing backs Cav's been a different player and seems to be really enjoying his footy. What a shame. Still this should give Phil Edwards a chance to get a few games in, and he's more than capable of deputising. Come on Phil!!! |

Poor Cav, he did say in the paper at the weekend that he was seeing a specialist about a possible hernia op - hope he makes a quick recovery & that Coley sees sense & plays Phil at right back while Cav is indisposed.

Re: Cav injured
I think you three must be munchin the magic mushrooms or somethin, he is a diabolical defender! Are you having a laugh.
Hears hoping a few more of (Football Genius) Colemans favourites get crocked if this is what it takes to get our better defenders into the team FFS!!!! |

I know coley sees what happens on the training ground and we don't, but last time something like this happened didn't we go on a long unbeaten run and win a league??? All the best to Cav hoping for a speedy recovery all the same. |

Re: Cav injured
Captain Marvel has been superb these last few games and has always proved a valuble asset to ASFC whenever called upon. Because he is usually (and MOST OF THE TIME deservedley so) a fixture in the team,he is an easy target for people who feel the need to crticise him unfairly. If Phil Edwards (who I agree would like to see more of) was playing the way Cav has been lately, people would be waxing lyrical about him.
