In fairness, though, lancsdave's post does reiterate the absurdity of a league team allowing another league team's reserves to play at their ground. It doesn't do much for the credibility of the club. Presumably the Burnley game will be shifted to earlier in the day. If so, and the weather turns, how will the club react to the Rochdale game being off, or rendered farcical by a poor pitch? I realise that money talks, but does the club really make enough from this to justify the risk and ridicule?

No way will they play 2 games on the pitch in one day. I think our reserve match will be called off or moved to a different venue.

Not a bad idea - although I think maybe putting 'Burnley' and 'entertainment' in the same sentence could be stretching it a bit:p
