Just spotted this on the Observer website:

Looks like there's another buying football clubs and picking the team-type shower in the offing (although this one's £49 a pop instead of whatever myfc were after)

I thought we had been through this before with myfootballclub, but clearly, some people just can't take a hint.

For the avoidance of any doubt:

I Can't see this being successful, MFC said they wanted 50,000, but got 20,000, obviously there aren't enough people about who are interested in this type of thing.
This new one is more expensive, so it's even less likely to get a good subscriber population.

any interested parties would have signed up to the original one, you wouldn't immediately go for another more expensive option would you? especially when you can still buy into the first one!


this sounds like someone trying to cash in on somebody elses idea. Good accompanying picture in t'paper though.
