If Coleman was a cat
If Coleman was a cat he would surely be on his 9th life by now. OK our great away form may get us some kind of result tomorrow (a draw at best I'd say), and there are some decent players in the side. But Wednesday night and this years home form show that he is devoid of ideas as to how to sort the problem out. Picking mates is an amateurish non-league trait and we can't have that at this level. I've always stuck up for Coleman up to now but I think it's becoming clear that he's reached his peak and is now out of his depth. If the home form continues as it is we will only have die hards coming and as has been said elsewhere, we cannot survive off that. It feels like the club is having a 'better the devil you know' attitude but sometimes you've just got to make some bold decisions.
I'd give Coleman 3 more matches to turn it round. |
Re: If Coleman was a cat
Wonder if Stan Ternant would be interested!

Re: If Coleman was a cat
If Coleman was a cat I would take him to my local vets and have him euthanized
scatter his ashes on our pitch so as to blend in with some of the fertilizer that he keeps selecting. |
Re: If Coleman was a cat
yes i would say the same on that one.

Re: If Coleman was a cat
He (JC) just needs to come to terms with Football League life instead of fighting away at most managers philosophies of No sentiment in football. It is or seems to be a long old topic that keeps beeing brought to the surface, but is infact always there. We will go and beat whoever and that buys the player/s a bit more time and supporters seem to forget the total unproffesional performance previously witnessed. In a NUTSHELL if he gets rid of the 'not good enough' coleman will lose his identity as a manager and everything he has built himself on as being a manger LOYALTY. Hes local (scouse) knowledge has got stanley were they are now (from northern premier), so what happens when the local (scouse) hand picked players are no longer good enough???

Re: If Coleman was a cat
IF Coley was allowed to leave through whatever reason, he would be the only employee we have that would be courted by clubs above us. I don't think any of the players would interest League 1 clubs but he certainly would.
We should be proud to have him really - but maybe Eric should send him on a refresher course or summat because he seems to be making a lot of basic errors |
Re: If Coleman was a cat
Time for change methinks.
Coleman / McLaran - both clueless |
Re: If Coleman was a cat
If Coleman was a cat and you asked him to improve the team's performance he'd probably say "Me? How?" :):):)
