Dead easy. Just a simple change from Hacker Halford to Happy Halford ! ;)

Come on , what referee could possibly find fault with a player called "Happy" !


Similarly, anyone nicknamed something equally intimidating such as , say , "The Enforcer" could be an instant hit with the refs by changing it to "The Flower Arranger".

I though we should rename Hacker; Augustus Montegue Toplady, because the ref couldn't spell it or have enough room to write him in his book! However it would be hard to include it in a song to the tune 'Rock of ages' and may infringe on copyright.
