Telegraph (not stanley friendly?)

Does the Lancs evening TELEGRAPH not like Accrington Stanley or something????
Last saturdays paper 20-3-04 Had a huge STANLEY headline but it was totally negative . Giving front page coverage of a supposed parking problem? Which the Club had not even recieved any complaints.
The HUGE headline Read;

STANLEY PARKING RULED OFFSIDE
Fans set to get booked

It stated that the police where after giving out tickets, this may be a small problem but why front page? When if you look in the back pages of this paper there is not even a sniff of a mention of our GREAT club:mad:

Compare this to The OBSERVER and it is full of interesting Stanley facts;)

Cancel your Telegraph order!!

Strange.... I never used to buy the telegraph.. but this season they have upped there coverage of Stanley on the inside back pages and I ahve started buying it as a result of that.

The Observer? Would that be the same observer that attacked the club and players while we where celebrating promotion..

At least the Telegraph website is updated on a daily basis around 2 pm.....try accessing the observer website..that is rarely updated and when it does happen it appears to be when someone's staggered back from the pub and said "Yhooo...lets update the website...go on..press the button!....

I am not a regular newspaper reader at all my only usual intrest is Stanley and what each paper says about them, and recently the OBSERVER has beat the TELGRAPH hands down.:)

well i find if you buy both you get the best of both worlds!

I agree simon, i thought it was stupied to stick the parking thing on the front page. But i suppose it is a problem, cos get a bus down whalley rd on match days and the traffic is all clogged up.

Oh well never mind, least im watching Stanley by then and don't have a car!

How come more people don't get the bus to Stanley games ?

It's not like there aren't any bus routes ?

It is a piggin' nightmare on match days.
