OSC christmas party

This saturday evening in the Sportsbar from 7:30pm (officially)

Entry is £3 if you are paying on the door or £1.50 with a ticket. Tickets will be on sale at the match from inside the clubhouse after the game. The idea of the discount is that you will most likely have bought a pint as well so would have contributed that way.

There will be a pie and peas (chippie style) supper provided, but you must have your ticket to get it.

Celtic Cross will be providing the music.

You do not have to be a member of the OSC to come along so bring a couple of mates or the Missus/Mr with you

There will be the usual raffle and also A Question of Stanley, and a Spot the Ball competition.

It hasn't been the best of years for us as a football club so let's try to have a really good Christmas party this year, have plenty of fun and hopefully make the OSC a stack of money and also the football club through excellent bar takings. I'd really like to see plenty of new faces and particularly a few older ones (not just old people etc...). Also if anybody is able to help a little on the night I do have a couple of jobs that we could do with a bit of assistance with, especially if anybody is likely to be not drinking earlier on.

See you all saturday!

Could be your last chance to see us as Celtic Cross.
Due to the death of the Pub Scene we cease trading as in the new year.

Re: OSC christmas party

Big THANKYOU to everyone who turned up, those who did made it a great night. Especially the Moshers down the front. And to see a certain young man singing vehemently to every word of my own songs somehow made my life seem worthwhile for the 1st time since...let`s see....oh yes last years Christmas do. Cheers.

I was disappointed that there were no players, especially Proccy who I personally invited him and his Dad at Whalley Arms. I really think it would make all the difference in a full room rather than half full. It should be a contractual duty for them to attend events like this which are fundamental in building the community around Accrington Stanley. As a newcomer to the FES last year I wouldn`t have met so many people and made so many friends without the OSC and I`m surprised that more people don`t socialise more with the people they stand and sing (or moan) alongside. It`s been said the club still has to catch up with the team, this is also true for a lot of the fans. But we edge ever closer. Onwards and Upwards.

Wishing you all the best for Christmas and the New Year

big thanks to everyone who turned out, also to Zero and Ian for producing another fantastic set for us. There were nowhere near as many people as I'd hoped for so maybe this will be the last christmas do, but everyone I spoke to had enjoyed themselves.

Not sure about the beer or the peas Zero. Its not really any different from any other day here!!!
