Can't be any worse than the two ex-dingles we've had recently.

According to the official site, Coleman is hoping to have a new player available tomorrow. He's also in talks with Webb, which is good news. Just hope it isn't too late.

Re: Who might come In

John Curtis is a very versatile defender who can play anywhere across the back four and also a holding role in midfield, I would be very surprised if we got him but would be a very useful addition.

Seen a rumour on one of the Swans sites that Craney could go for 20k (that has to be a bargain):theband:

Re: Who might come In

I think getting players towards the end of their careers is a mistake, especially when described as versatile.
Anybody who remembers Rodgers, Grant, Branch and McEvilly, will know what I'm on about.

John Curtis is only 29

And McEvilly is only 25. Hardly at the end of his career.

Just got back, rumours abounding. Seems like everyone who has ever played for Stanley is on the way back. :)

Let's wait for Fishy site, eh. ;)

Re: Who might come In

Forgot to mention this earlier. As I was on my way to the ground after the game Andy Todd gave an interview on 2BR. He did say he 'thinks' he is there until the end of the season.

VitalStanley 02-01-2008 14:50

Re: Who might come In

Yeah I heard that lancsdave, theres a newspaper also saying he's signed until the end of the season.

Good about time our defense was sorted out - so we got 2 coming in, so who's going??

Well, seeing as Coleys in the groove for signing old favourites, I suspect it'll be Jonny Smith and Paul Howarth :D

Re: Who might come In

On fishy site. Just signed left back on free transfer from B.R.F.C. 20 year old Mark King (thought he played bass for Level 42). Fingers crossed he's fully recovered from the 2 serious knee injuries he had last year (according to fishy site).
