Boco not happy
From today's Sunday Times :-
"There are things happening at Accrington I cannot speak of", he says sadly. "I used to be so happy there but now I am not and being on the bench is no way to prepare for international football. I have no friends there ; they just call me "the Frenchie" and don't speak to me. But all I can do is my best. For now I must enjoy this fantastic experience I'm having with my Benin family" Oh dear! |

Re: Boco not happy
It's bad enough when languages get translated. When they then get translated in to newspaper print they can often be totally different to what was said, even when they were spoken in English

Won't be the first player to be forced out due to not being part of the cliche.

Re: Boco not happy
from my understanding of it he has an injury that the doc says prevents him from training (unless on international duty it seems). If he isn't training with the lads then he will feel left out. He should live either near the majority of the rest of the team or in the town near the fans. That way he would feel loved a wee bit more.
I hope that has been lost in translation somehow because I didn't have Boco down as a moaner. Beyond that it seems to be good again that the nationals can pick up on Stanley links but Stanley don't seem to be pushing the boat out on this one. Is there anything happening on the Benin days in the Crown? |

Re: Boco not happy
I heard from Boco himself (I have witnesses) that things went downhill the moment McEvilly came back, he had told Coleman that the two had problems and asked him not to bring him back to Stanley, might have something to do with this story.

McEvley should go to rochdale and not come back

Re: Boco not happy
Really don't want any of this to be true, Rommy is a true professional & has worked so hard in every way from the time he first arrived at the club - not just at what he does on the pitch but also in loads of other ways to be part of the club - learning English from scratch when he first came must've been really difficult for him. He's also I think the only one of our lads to turn up at a couple of the ladies team games, not cos he has to, but because he wants to be part of everything about the club.
If the bit about McEvilly is true then it won't be the first time that he's been involved in making another player feel that way - he is nothing but a bully & should not have been allowed to return to Stanley. I really hope that Keith Hill is serious about taking him back to Rochdale permanently and when Rommy comes back the fans need to show him how much we want him to stay. |

Re: Boco not happy
If it is McEvilly causing the upset, get shot, I know who I'd rather have, and it ain't the fat hooligan.
I heard through the grapevine that the reason McEvilly went the first time round was because he was disrupting the sqaud. |
