Good to see Arthur back in the starting line-up. Let's hope he hasn't lost anything while he's been out.

Rest of the line-up looks the same as Tuesday.

DAV007 16-02-2008 13:51

Re: Today v Brentford

positive line up - the only concern is the lack of attacking options on the bench. Leyton still injured?

is it live on internet radio?

cmonstanley 16-02-2008 13:52

Re: Today v Brentford

coley said he is going to stick to a settled side.plus the subs bench looks a lot stronger than lately .maybe a draw today:)

Kiwi John 16-02-2008 13:53

Re: Today v Brentford

Still would've thought Mannix would start.

Re: Today v Brentford

he might be letting Mannix ease himself in. Still can't fathom why King doesn't start.

Well, it's that time again. Let's hope for a different result.

DAV007 16-02-2008 14:05

Re: Today v Brentford

the most encouraging team i have seen for along time - brentford like to pass it short which will play to our advantage.
2 teams playing the same kind of tactic - i fancy us to succeed as we have some of the leagues best passers.
Its when we play against teams wirth pace I fear the worst.

Was he not 'Straight in' last year?

Re: Today v Brentford

probably feeling a twinge ,so dont want to risk him before stockport game..plus seeing if his present line up hs the balls to rectify their mistakes in the lincoln game, like learning from mistakes:eek::Dive got a feelin for a draw today...coley did say he was going to let his defence settle more before any more decisions.

That would be nice. Too bad they like to discriminate against those of us who live outside the UK.

I'm afraid that's beyond my capabilities. I've tried using anonymous proxies in the past with no success.

That link died once 2br changed their website around so I'm stuck with Liverpool v Barnsley on the television and Stanley on live text from the BBC.

He's getting there by sounds of it, he needs a goal & that would boost his confidence back according to coley.

And I bet that they didn't get anywhere near our goalmouth either!. ( Quote JC!)....Lincoln didn't, and they scored three as well...a real sneaky way of inflicting a defeat on the lads from t'North!

Re: Today v Brentford

Today we didn't play too badly, we fought to the end, so the journey home wasn't so bad.

I have to say The home fans created a brilliant atmosphere, the first time in this league that I have heard 2 stands singing in unison. The other stand had 3 singers whose intent was to wind us up, but it was good banter. The stewards were very good, and the pies were excellent.
On a negative side, they put up the prices by a quid and wouldn't let us use the terracing.
