why give the benefit just till tomorrow night ? - either you're a supporter or you're not - thick or thin, rain or shine. Sure, it's the nature of us terrace geniuses to wonder why our management don't try this or that. But we don't have the full background detail for anything more severe than an enquiry. Some of the stuff aimed at the management is totally out of order for a true supporter and there are a few fellow posters who I would not want anywhere near me in the trenches, if you follow my drift. When I left Accy at the end of '51 we were a small club sandwiched between two much bigger ones - anything changed with that ?. Apart from 4 Galbraith years we have always struggled. The management have done a superb job in the circumstances. Yeah, I'm the first to sulk when we lose - but I will never fail support the team or management while there's breath in my body. Lost my voice giving abuse to the Brentford keeper for getting Jay booked - but I can still rant with my fingers. Rant over - c'mon Stanley, take that Stockport lot by storm. Have a good day chums !

A bit like George W Bush said "You're either for the USA or you're on the side of the terrorists".

While not agreeing (or disagreeing for that matter) with some of the things said in posts over the last few weeks, those who posted them are no less supporters than those who disagree.

So...Stockport have just got a highly-rated City youngster on loan (who apparently runs rings round vulnerable defences, or so the City supporter at work tells me). They've also got an equally-highly rated goalie from Everton. And the County fans in the pub have just informed me that I'll have lots of "company" on the X41 up tomorrow.

However, in the words of one of my heroes (and yonmon's current avatar), "What me worry?" :D

And Alfred and I certainly don't worry Wyn!...just get a bit flustered now and again..and sulk a bit just like LongLostSon..(ask my better half!)..and I can get elated!..REMEMBER THE NIGHT AT BRADFORD...WOW!!!..

So as usual I'll turn up with a good heart tomorrow afternoon...full of optimism,...ready to drown out the bleats of the County fans with as much
noise as I can muster!..Paul will score...the result?.. Reds 1 County 0.

We'll be there!!......ON.STANLEY !.....ON!!!!!!

We'll have a clean sheet tomorrow.......errr today, first time in donkeys. Mangan comes on as sub.... 77mins. Todd, who's had a great 1st half has faded in 2nd but gets the ball and instead of heading to the byline, tired limbs lob over an early cross. Mullin heads down to Mangan who backheals towards goal. Keeper clocks Mangan and thinks... is that 'im I used to see on the **** in the 'pool. meantime ball slowmos over line... 1-0 Stanley. Yes! We'll have that! Good luck today boys
