Midfield or lack off one to be exact !!!
 

I agree the defence isn,t the best, and I understand most peoples frustration with it, but were has the midfield gone ?. They have been totally useless in the last two home games (and a few more before that). I dont need to name names, because we all know who the weak links are. Can we this week slag off ,sorry I mean,t to say 'debate' the midfield or lack off it and give the defense\management a break ?.

i agree , craney thinks he can beat any 1 on the floor but cant , so when he figures it out in match his head goes down and starts blaming rest of team . whalley has 2 good touches but after that he looses ball . maddax was absent and MP looked bewilded .

Jay Harris played against Lincoln,but the midfield was amost non existent then, Although I do admit Jay is probably our hardest working player (along with Leam), at the moment.

I'll go along with that Billy!...( Didn't my 1-0 for t'Reds prediction fail miserably..Sorry Jimbo!)..But isn't there another dimension which was, on this afternoon's evidence, worth adding to the debate, and that's QUALITY!...or lack of it!.
What can be measured to define Quality are elements like 1)..Passes completed!..2) Tackles made with success!...3.) Shots/Headers on Goal !,and the less definable factors called Spirit and enthusiasm.
I have my opinions relating to the Quality and qualities existing and sadly lacking in the two sets of players on show today at the FES...
BUT...I'll reserve them or a while, and see if anyone else can make some estimation of these for themselves!!.

It's easy to apportion blame..and difficult not to agree with some of the hatchet-men posting here and there!...but, applying logical thought to the current situation, it is difficult to see what options are left to the Management Team...more food for FORUM thought????

But I bet we'll all be there on Tuesday...Depechemode included!!!

I have to say the real difference between the teams today was the midfield

Stockport played as a unit helping out when the ball went towards their goal and supported well when the ball came towards the Stanley goal men dropping off at times it seemed like they had an extra man:(

Stanley just seem to struggle to keep possession and find the killer pass going forward which usually ends up putting our already shaky defence under even more needless pressure:(

here here , i though webb was looking solid most of the time but aswad looked ****ed . need a big sod at back to deal with the big buggers they call forwards in this league . Prud looked like McEvill 's long lost brother
