Predictions for Rotherham game
 

Next up for Stanley and the prediction league is a League 2 visit to Millmoor (Nuuuu ground nuuuu ground) to take on the might of the Yorkshire Millers of Rotherham Utd.

To help you make an educated guess, Rotherham currently sit in a nice tidy 5th - amazing considering the black month theyve had in February only gaining 4 points all month (probably one more than us!!) - albeit they were playing several top placed sides such as MK Dons, Peterborough and Wycombe. They narrowly beat Lincoln recently at home but lost last night to Bradford away.

So how do you think this will go? Can we get a point or 3?

Deadline for all predictions will be kick off which is this coming Saturday, 1st March 15:00GMT

Still have to wait for Roy to come in out of the wilderness in some Russian backwater somewhere to sort out the prediction league table being posted up but I am keeping it up to date and will post it as soon as physically possible.

Today, I ask myself which Stanley will turn up - the team that played so well to beat Brentford on Tuesday evening or the team that didn't perform at all at MK Dons (admittedly pre Christmas or on many other occasions this season) ?

It's a hard one to call as Rotherham seem to be on the slide and are capable of much better, but I am going for a Stanley win today, so here goes :

Unlucky Bagpuss!

Right Ive got some updating to do. Looks like Roy isnt coming out of hiding any time soon so Im going to work on an alternative to posting the latest league table up which now includes all games up to the Rotherham result so watch this space.

First up, the predictions for the Stockport game at the FES. Only one winner collecting 5 points by correctly predicting a 2-0 win for the Hatters and that was Accy(reverse psychology my backside :) )Mad..

Next was the resurrected thread of predictions for the Brentford home game. I take it news of our election results had reached the land of Loweiy. Havent noticed any difference yet but thanks for asking comrade! :) And before you ask, no I didnt vote as I have not been here long enough to be entitled to - couple more years and I can. Aaaanyway - onto the predictions. Winners who added 5 points to their totals by correctly predicting a 1-0 win for Stanley were caretaker, rude-dog and Jesus_was_A_red_ - well done guys..

Lastly - the game on Saturday away at Rotherham. 5th in the league?? Pah! Never in doubt :) Perhaps AccyMad could learn some proper reverse psychology from ukcowboy! Despite this, unfortunately ukcowboy's and caretakers predictions didnt count because '3-0 is my prediction' and '1-0 to us' are not clear predictions. I have to be fair about this when it happens - sorry guys. Better news, the people that gained 5 points for correctly predicting a 1-0 Stanley win at Millmoor were cashman and Jesus_was_A_red_ again - a good 2 weeks for him/her...

Believe me, I'd rather Stanley had got the 3 points than me get the 5 points Jimbo so, as my amateur attempt at phsycology backfired somewhat I'm abandoning that way of thinking forthwith :)
