so who's next?

Hereford and Morecambe at home followed by Rochdale away. Three of the games I most look forward to in this league. Draw, win, win please and that leaves us a point away from the fabled 50 mark

The only shout from me is that this morning 'forty-two' is almost a magical
word!...( well I know that it's hyphenated but...?)..it sounds so much more
satisfying than 'thirty-six' did a few days ago....and a great improvement on the 'thirty-nine' we were all applauding after 'the Reds' encounter with the sting-less Bees!...
With 11 games to go, and with seven of these being potential WINS on paper. (And on Grass, come to think of it!)..and with many of the unexpected results which seem to be causing teams above us to lose points ! (Poor Shrimps!). in mind. Your optimism in the situation Macca is NOT at all
misplaced !. So all we can say is 'WHAT ME WORRY' and 'ON STANLEY..ON!'

maccawozzagod 02-03-2008 08:28

Re: so who's next?

ah, but the unexpected such as Grimsby STUFFING or ABSOLUTELY BATTERING Morecambe can and will happen to us. I fully expect us to get some sort of result at home to Morecambe but will lose to Wrexham and Bury at the end of the season!

I read somewhere last night that there had been 14 more away wins this year than home wins and that it was an unprecedented statistic.

Almost to the exclusion of Hereford losing at home to Stockport. ;)

Two cracking home games coming up. :mosher:

Coley just needs to pin up this Bulls fan's post in the dressing room:-

"It would be like the sweetest victory of the season. Fair enough we've never won at Shrewsbury before, but this is a team with crowds far worse than us run by a guy who has no idea where the club is going and a manager who I'm sure alot of people on here would like to smack. So many bad memories there. You can't be any more right Ex. This is a perfect place to get back on form."

Remember, lads, they don't like it "up 'Em"!<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

That is a thread started by the legendary ParkaBull. Nice to see the Barnet-based icon is still living and breathing from his armchair. :D

Re: so who's next?

Parkabull****e - legend in his own underpants. Never has such utter drivel ever been uttered in such frequency from one pathetic none attending wannabe. Poor deluded sod actually revels in his 'notoriety' and gains wet dream material from having his jihad type crap quoted up and down message boards country wide.

So this should keep him going for a couple of nights. Numpty

I've never seen the point in people who put utter lies on forums just to wind people up and then turn it round with a 'whoosh' got ya afterwards.

Re: so who's next?

Here goes Parkabull again on Aldershot's revival:-

"As Niki Bull said last night - the club has been financed by fans and built from the bottom level up to where it is today. It is a far better story than that of ACCY ( which is a completely different club - whereas Aldershot is only different in name/badge )

I think that it is easy to criticise other clubs fans without knowing the full story about how hard they have worked to save their football."

Sort of contradicts himself there!
Rumours they are bringing "I see whippet people banners". I think we should all wear our "ratters" on Saturday.:D

So Aldershot haven't been built from the bottom level up to where it is today. Aldershot had a ground when they started re-building, Stanley had a field, Stanley have come a lot further than Aldershot over the years.

maccawozzagod 04-03-2008 16:41

Re: so who's next?

by the laws of his own argument Aldershot are a different club if we are. Aldershot folded to avoid full payment of debts. And as Jeff says, they got to keep their existing ground, fans and infrastructure whereas we had to literally start from the very beginning. Hands up all those who think we should borrow a few hundred thousand pound and then crash the club but start again with a slightly different name and a shiny ground?

I think we should send Depechemode to Bulls News! DP v B2G in the battle of winder-uppers

Re: so who's next?

B2G would win! Depechemode looks like a saint compared to him! What a prat B2G sounds like , i think he should get out of his house once in a while!

Re: so who's next?

ParkaBull is a legend in his own bath time.

Apparently he didn't make it to Millennium Stadium for the play-off final as his armchair wouldn't fit through the turnstyle.

Who the #### are hereford united?
Go any country (apart from wales) in the world ask them if they have heard of them and us and you will know who is bigger on the world stage. Village in wales versus North West Town in England.
