Hereford Game Off?
 

I heard today that we could have a situation on Saturday, the same problem that we have had before when the police where going to stop us playing 15 minutes before kick off because we didn't have enough stewards. Rumour is that our stewards have not been paid for the last 5 games and some are threatening not to turn up on Saturday until they have been paid what is owed to them. If we don't have enough stewards it's no game. So get your hand in your pocket Mr Whalley and paid what's owed because this would not go down well with the supporters or the league and even the press if we have no game on Saturday.:mad:

I'm a steward for the club and i got paid what was owed me..........3days after it were promised so at least one steward will be there :) but not to worry if you search accrington stanley stewards on you tube according to stockport fans we have the ugliest stewards in the football league so if we scare all the away fans off with are lucks we should have enough stewards present to cover the home end:)

Excellent I hope the two I that where mentioned today will get their cash soon. They did tell me that they knew of at least 5 others who where still waiting. Grinch did you not get paid for the last 5 games until recently?

well i had not been paid since middle december, but that was due to not being able to attend most games due to christmas trading in my job and finding it hard to get saturdays off due the busy time. it was ment to go in the bank at the end of every month but its stoppin and startin for example the stockport game we got are wage cash in hand at the end and we were told it will be cash in hand from then on, but come brentford the gate was sh*t apparntly and couldnt afford because thay had to back date everyone so the friday after brentford all my games owed went into the bank. Everybody should be sorted after Saturday hopefully. But this situation has been going on long before this season

I too have been paid into the bank as promised by the club, so sorry, don't know where you get this one from. However, I cannot be there this Saturday due to work commitments, so I hope the club has sufficient stewards to be able to get the match played, as I am sure they will.

so i have checked around, and the majority of stewards have been paid, a few have not or have a few games missing but i doubt very much that saturdays game is any doubt due to lack of stewards

Polish Poles..............They play football don't they. If we gat an add in the Observer we could increase the gate at the same time.....just think of the benefits, their flags are Red and White, they do some really good snack foods and they can sing, and there's thousands of them. :):):)

I got some info in good faith that was it seems true, I have just checked with the two in question and one has not been paid yet. We know what happened the last time and thought if I bring this up now rather than Saturday it gives the club time to get it sorted because I'm sure we all want the game on. So the next time one or two decide to have a quick pop at me don't bother because what this thread has shown is the club is still being run in a tinpot manner.:p:(


Doug and Mr H the Polish are welcome if they pay full price just because I won't be buying them a pint doesn't mean Eric wouldn't want their cash.:)
