changing rooms
how can we expect to sign good players when the ground is just about conferance standard ? are we the only team in the league that has a portacabin for changing rooms ? i know coleman was a teacher but does he still think hes teaching kids . need a plan of action not a tight wallet .
|
Re: changing rooms
You really are scraping the bottom of the barrel now, How long has it taken you to think this one up. Also you need to get your facts right, the plyers do not get changed in a portacabin, and if they did it certainly hasn't got anything to do with "coleman" as you refer to our manager!!!!!!!.

Re: changing rooms
ah, just have them get changed behind a beach towel, we've all done it.
In fact you could have bystanders chuck money at them for doing it. Would improve the gate revenue no end. Would probably even turn up myself lol x |
Re: changing rooms
told you the other week, ring the samaritans, they can help.
|
Re: changing rooms
Good advert for 'it's grim up north' this.
|
Re: changing rooms

And this, at the present interesting period in the Season, with every opportunity for you to pour praise on JC and JB, really is a crummy and useless thread !. So do say something which will make us think that you really care about 'the Reds'...and even Lindsay might grow to love you..(just a little!) 'WHAT ME WORRY ?'.....'ON STANLEY !..ON !!!' :alright: |
Re: changing rooms
am sorry didnt realise our ground was the wembly of the north . apart from daggers who has a worst ground then us ? bloody no one .

Look at the league table. (We're in league 2 in case you need help with that.) (coca cola league 2). (copy my spelling of league to help further). Dagenham are only one of eight teams below us, therefore the state of the ground clearly has no effect whatsoever on performance. So shut up. |
Re: changing rooms
it does when a player has a look round ground with view to signing and sees a unibond standard ground . quick out the door unless hes a loan signing
|

No, because you have no ability to see reason.

Re: changing rooms

|
Re: changing rooms
Don't worry, DM, we may be able to afford some of those ground improvements soon. The number of people who are ready to pay good money to throw wet sponges at you is growing daily!

We are not likely to go bust and tumble through the leagues, unlike other clubs. I can now understand why people in the Whalley pubs, don't want to speak to you, especially if you go looking for something to moan about. |

We could quite easily have built better facilities all those seasons ago and we would now be attracting the best players in the Conference North to come and play in front of 800 people against Matlock, but we (Eric) decided to put what little money we had into the squad and play in front of 3000 at home to Stockport or in front of 13000 away at Bradford. Would you prefer ASDA to drop their prices and make the product more attractively priced or would you prefer to push your trolley around solid oak floorboards with gold plated crash rails built onto them? |
Re: changing rooms
Are you expecting a sensible reply to that Macca?
|
Re: changing rooms
no not really Lindsay.
more like some babble about how we have used the wrong sort of breeze block or the turnstiles are too narrow. DP probably used to work for British Rail when they whinged about wrong snow and leaves! |
Re: changing rooms
Looks like he has gone back to sleep now; either that or he is composing a letter to a well known BBC tv makeover show to get Laurence Llewellyn Wotsit to come and put some chintz curtains and faux fur throws about the place !:rofl38::rofl38:

1. I'm not an inbreed, but you do talk complete cack Depeche. 2. Yes Accy Stanley has come a long way, and I have no doubt that with the supporters it has, it will go a long way in the future 3. The financial stability of a club will be more important to an potential new player than one that has spangly curtains and so one. 4. I do however believe that with the right focus, Stanley can 'play with the big boys' even with Blackburn and Burnley on our doorstep. Granted, it will take time, but I have lost count the amount of places both inside and outside the UK, where I have spoken to people who have never heard of Blackburn, but mention Accrington Stanley and their eyes light up. I personally believe that Accrington Stanley Management could do more working with their strengths, not only on the field, but off it, as a true business. Marketing, Google Page Ranking, fundraising etc should be given a more emphasis; get the money and the support from the community, and the council will soon click on to the financial prospect of the club and become more willing to work together. This post is in now way knocking the achievements of Stanley so far, only that I have faith that we can go a lot further! |

Re: changing rooms
Seriously DM if all you can find to complain about is the Dressing rooms then i think you really need to get a life!
I am not a Stanley fan but they are my second team and even i get riled up reading yur stupid, childish comments all the bloody time. Be grateful Stanley are in the league after all the struggles over the years,in fact be grateful you have a club to support at all(if you really are a supporter i really doubt it sometimes) When are you going to realise nobody agrees with what you say and nobody seems to like you! Sod off to another site and annoy them. |

i can bitch bout my team all i want to , iv been going longer then most of you lot . anyway hereford was worth their win today . good luck to them for rest of season . maybe they might sell us a few of their seats .
|
Re: changing rooms
my main gripe is do you want the team to progress or are u lot happy with life in the bottom end of the league with a tin hut of a ground with a manager with only limited league know how ? would you not like to turn up at a decent home ground to watch your footie or look out at our small unibond league standard ground with barrow type crowds ? we need a new ground , spend a bit of cash . the rest will follow

i said most of you not all of you . you be happy seeing stanley play on a school pitch with a tree for cover . even darwen fc are planing for the future , our future is having pink hats in the club shop .
|
Re: changing rooms
db a view from a nuetral here what a load of sh*te you talk accrington stanley and clubs like them (hufc my team) do not have the money to invest in the maybe they will come, they are fighting just to stay afloat like many div 2 sides. we have at hereford one of the worst grounds in the league but back in the 80's the board blew loas of money got the club almost bankrupt ,but now thanks to shrewed managment and a lot of the time make do and mend better days do seem ahead.
you can be at the top of the table but it does not mean the gates will be any better just ask hereford united. with your small gates you are doing very well to survive in the league just think where you were a few years ago!! lighten up mate and be proud to support the stanley |

Is it not easier and cheaper just to not supply them again ? Taking them to a football match to listen to 90 minutes of you ranting and raving seems a bit extreme to make them realise they aren't wanted. Unless of course the client is a Wrexham fan and listening to 90 minutes of abuse towards the opposition will take his mind off what an abysmal season they are having :) |
