brett came to visit my sons school a few months ago , when asked why he doesnt play for stanley any more he said stanley cant afford him and his worth 500,000 . nuth said . dont blame him going to forest . Better ground ect

what i saw of brett when we played preston the other month he was'nt up to much really don't know if he was recovering from another injury, time will tell, but he would'nt come back to the crown anyway depressed toad now he know's we have swapped the changing rooms for portacabins

I still believe our Brett will be back here one day, even if it's for ever just a short time to finish off his career - the Crown Ground is home to him :)

Sure there'll be a clause in the transfer contract which says if he scores the winner to get Blackpool to the premier league, we'll be due another payment!!!:)

Really chuffed for Brett & the whole Blackpool team, who'd have thought his goal would first get them to the play-off final & then he'd do it again to take them to the premiership - and Stanley got a mention on sky sports news :)

My other team denied Cardiff the play offs by beating them in the last game of the 2008/9 season.

They paid us back with interest by virtually confirming our League One ticket at their place in our last away game of the season.....judging by the baying noises I heard on the commentary didn't they enjoy it. We played quite well... pity we didn't do so well in all the previous 44 games.

Glad that the decisive goal was scored by someone who has done so much for Stanley in recent years. May be we would not be in the league but for the cash he made for us.
