Possibly..only time will tell.

However his talks today with our Chairman could just as well be about confirming the funds that are available to bring in the additional players we need to go forward.

Having bid a total of over £300,000 since Christmas for new players Sammy will want confirmation that that and more will be available.

Looking forward to Wednesday and in particular the clash between Kempson and Blinkhorn.

Who says Kempson will be playing? Don't you know we have a rotating central defenders policy?:D

Re: Sammy McIllroy

the bids you placed for Lewis and Bishop were just 'buying a raffle ticket' though weren't they? I hope Sammy doesn't like what he hears cos if he walks then I think Morecambe will slide!

You've had a good season so far CC, but it's time to chill out now and let the points (and Stanley) pass by!

Bloody expensive raffle tickets then!

The bid for both Lewis and Bishop were genuine but the £400,000 that Lewis went for and the same amount that Bury quoted for Bishop were just a wee bit too much....even for us.:D

Mind you, had we speculated on £400K for Lewis, we'd probably have recouped that and significantly more sooner rather than later.:thankya:

Two new footballs for Whalley! Does that include all the pubs or just the ones where DM is out of favour?

No, feel free, Depechemode is our resident troll and doesn't actually like Stanley.
People are clubbing up to buy him a Morecambe season ticket, honest. :)

Yes, looking forward to Wednesday, I've become something of a Bentley "fan" over the years.

We'll be there with Sammy McIlroy having confirmed that he's no intention of moving on and with 'manager in waiting' Jimbo leading the troops into battle.
