Tonights match still on ?

After all this overnight rain and the way the pitch was cutting up on Saturday, whats the chance of the match still being playable?

According to fishy site, "Although the pitch was wet first thing this morning it is now drying up quickly and with very little further rain forecast there is no pitch inspecton planned ahead of tonight's game against Morecambe.

Should there be any significant changes to the conditions then appropriate action will be taken and we will continue to update the website with any news"

Unfortunatley for Gary, groundsman of the year awards tend to go to the ones who produce bowling green pitches for the big clubs. It amazes me how he manages to get so many matches on with the resources he has.

Imagine what he could do with a few staff and a bag of grass seed :D

Our Gary & groundstaff do very well with limited resources, just that centre line running between the two goal lines need some serious work theres one long bald patch:eek:

Waders & water wings on a bad day :D

Aye, trying to keep our pitch playable all the time must be as frustrating as playing snooker with a rope. Well done Gary and co.
