new training ground?
"king georges was just a temporary measure and if you have someone coming up from Charlton, you want them to have a regular training ground and not training in Accrington, Liverpool, Rochdale and all over. We are working with the council on this to have something which can be used by the players in the morning and used by the community in th eafternoon and nights. We are probably looking at it being ready in 12-18 months but we have started the process of finding a permanent training facility"
this article does not say whether it will be an actual ground with structures or just a field, or whether it will Stanley owned (thereby creating revenue) or council owned. Either way, it's more good news for the club and shows we are still making strides forwards |

Re: new training ground?
Wilsons is adequate facilities for league two level i think. Also hyndburn sports centre for all weather astro turf, swimming, gym, squash etc. If we are thinking of rolling a place with similar resources these two combined venues have all into one it would cost millions. But its all positive news.
