'Must not lose game' from Setanta

Accrington assistant manager Jimmy Bell has admitted that this weekend’s game against Macclesfield is a “must not lose” game.

Although Stanley lie 12 points from the dropzone on 45 points, manager John Coleman has set his side a safety mark of 50 points.

And with Macclesfield four points and four places below the Reds, Bell has highlighted just how important the points are going to be going into the final few games of the season.

Bell said: “We are not safe yet.
“Although it’s not a must win game it is a must not lose game.
“We are both still fighting for the points to get to our 50 point target and we will have Paul Mullin back and available for the game. I think both sides would welcome a draw but we are going there with the aim of winning it.”

We carry on. What else is there? I reckon 1 more win will definitely see us safe, but we may not need that if Wrexham and Mansfield carry on the way they are.

Fair point TM, just re-read my comment and it does come accross as being rather flippant, not what I meant at all :o.

It was meant to come accross as sarcastic humor.......well it sounded good in my head at the time!! Perhaps it was the Guinness........:D

They play each other on Tuesday night, sort of one less game in hand between them. :)

Sorry to sound like an echo of depechemode but get rid of the duo of hapless scouse dunderheads and employ a management team who do not base their selections on favouritism, who do not constantly harangue and blame the match officials for their own shortcomings and realise that a left back is a left back, a midfielder is not a striker and a right-footed pub-league player will never make a left winger.

The only point uve got got good there is about the midfielder (craney) not being a striker! But that can be changed and sorted! You cant sack a manager because of that! The rest is bo****ks!

Johnny Coleman Football Genious!!
