season tickets

the season tickets were over priced last year and now they have upped the price again- absolute disgrace £100 quid for a 14 year old

ossyclogger 18-04-2004 11:51

Re: season tickets

£90 before the end of May. Under £4-30 per game.Very good value for money to watch the best team in the land. Skinflint !

Re: season tickets

Full time profesionals this season.. part timers last... Inflation blah blah.. No a bad price at all! :)

Re: season tickets

You could always pay the crazy prices at Ewood instead....over £50 for 2 adults and a child!!!! :)

Football is a activity that needs financing. All those blokes who run around after that little round white thing don't do it for nowt. The guy who keeps the pitch inorder doesn't do it for nowt. The power company don't supply the electricity for nothing. Etc.

Don't be a prat, if you want free football watch it on Highams or Wilsons. Support your club and shut up

lindsay ormerod 18-04-2004 18:22

Re: season tickets

Well said Minister, now the lads are going full time someone has to pay their wages, and that's where we come in;its pretty simple really, you could have a team of part timers who don't get enough chance to train together and are panned out by mid season or we go full time and win the lot!
Next season will be fantastic for the fans, the team and the town.
On Stanley On! :wave8: :wave8:

Re: season tickets

Those Season ticket prices sound a real bargain to me :) Especially the under 12's , I am looking forward to buying 5 season tickets for Me and my Tribe,

Where else can you watch REAL football, Talk to the players in the bar, Enjoy a real football community, feel part of it, and get really close to the pitch??? All for the bargain prices of Stanley???

Who is this fool FAZ above, You can bet if he/she actually comes to a Stanley game he is one of those idiots that is always moaning all the way through the game ?? I'm sure we all hear e'm.

If we go to all or most of Stanleys home games Lets buy a season ticket if we can at all afford too, This will help our club set there stall out a lot better :)

KIPAX 18-04-2004 23:00

Re: season tickets

The kids season ticket is the best bargain.. 21 games at 3 quid each is 63 quid. But you can get a season tkt for 25 quid.

Simon..5 !!! Stop showing off buying 5 :) I have 7 kids... 4 of them are classed as adults (I say classed as..hmmm) ... I would need to sell my car to get them all one :)

Amazin' ain't it?...full time, professional football back in Accy after 42 years and somebody's moaning that a season ticket for a teenager works out per game around the price of a packet of fags.

There's just no pleasing some people!

i am standing by my guns i am anoyed bcause i am thirteen and i wil be 14 by next season i am annoyed because if i was a year or so younger it would cost just more than a quarter of the price and i am not going to lie about my age like a lot of people my age do to get in cheap

KIPAX 19-04-2004 15:24

Re: season tickets

Nice to hear you are Honest young sir :) My oldest is 12 and a lot dearer than my younger 2,, But to be honest he enjoys the match and gets his moneys worth, but the younger ones 5/7 get dragged along and because of there age don't enjoy it as much !! So happily cost a lot less ;)

I can see where you are coming from but It seems fair to me and the powers that be have to draw lines somewhere........ :)

Re: season tickets

I'm going to the Champions League semi-final - Chelsea Vs Monaco at Stamford Bridge. Just for me (I'm 14) it cost £43. Would you rather pay that or pay a few quid more than you normally pay to see the best football club in the world?

Re: season tickets

Fair Do's Faz, but you can still take the hire purchase option and pay as you go every week. That way you don't have to fork out all your money at once. It's not Old Trafford so you will still get in.

Stanleyman 04-08-2004 11:23

Re: season tickets

I dont have a job but i have been able t scrimp andsave for a season ticket so stop:stop: moaning you tight get spend some on money the gates and the footy will improve how else can the club afford to go full time

KIPAX 04-08-2004 11:34

Re: season tickets

Before having a pop at people you may want to consider that a fan going to every game just like you... but paying at the turnstile... will in fact give the club MORE money than you have buying a seson ticket. ..So calling them tight isn't really fair is it.

The club do prefer season tickets as it gives them the money in advance and a guaranteed income...you are helping the club by buying one... But you shouldn't be having a go at those that either don't want to or can't.

There... I feel much better now :) :)

Different horses for different courses is what I think my friend is trying to say :) ;)
At the end of the day as long as you get ya reddies out, youre helping the club. Wish I was as lucky as some of you guys and in a position to do either - most of my reddies go to other clubs as normally I only get to away games now...

I agree with Faz, £100 for 12-16 year olds is very very expensive. You can watch premiership football for cheaper.
