Paul Butler and Tony Dinning could well have played their last games for Chester City.
The pair were suspended by the club for what was described as an alleged "serious breach of club discipline".
Chester manager Simon Davies said the matter is being dealt with internally, but that the decision had been taken in the best interests of the club. Davies added that neither Butler, Chester's club captain, nor Dinning figure in his plans for next season. <!-- E SF --><!-- E BO -->
