Stanley Programmes
 

Can anybody help?

I would like to create a collection of programmes with 1 from every season to use as part of a display for the Exhibition and possibly other uses.

I'd like to be able to show how the programme has progressed in terms of quality of print or content and also the general look of it. I have absolutely no preference for who the opponents were but would like it to be in good nick.

If you have any could you please respond by just putting down the season that you would like to contribute.

Macca,

Will see you at some stage either Saturday or Monday.

Let me know what early ones your missing, guess I will have the best example of mid/ late 70's + early 80's ( unless Jack Barrett has some put away).

I understand youe idea, you want to show how the programme has developed and progressed over the years, as has the team.

I wonder if Stanleybabe still has any in her pocession?? :rolleyes:

In the Lancashire Combination days Stanley were the only club to issue a programme. John Alty took a real pride in what he organised, I just filled in the gap whilst John left:) (for a short while)

At the moment I am missing all of em except what has been pledged so far!

I used to have shed loads but they were whittled away during my early drinking years!

rightio, thanks for the programmes received so far.

I am missing anything previous to 77/78, everything after 78/79 until 88/89. After that I need 89/90, 95/96, 97/98, 00/01, 02/03, 03/04, 04/05 and 05/06.

Willie, does your offer still stand of post 2001?

just to reiterate, I am looking for home programmes, preferably league games.

77/78 (lots) (+ Wigan v Accy , Wigan's last year of non league)

79/80 ( Peel Park on cover, John Alty editor)
80/81 ( new editor ;))

81/82 (+ temp prog v South Liverpool 1st game at upgraded ground)

would really like anything between the 62 Crewe game and the rformed Formby game in 70
