A big thank you to the town, people, and supporters of Accy.

We were made to feel very welcome by the people in Accy, from the local chippy to all the people stoping and speaking to my boy, as he was heavily clad in shakers gear, and keen to talk back.

The folks in the pubs were great. Had a good chat with a load of Stanley fans who all came across as I feel Bury do, as a warm 'Family' style club.

Congratulations on improving your league position this year....I've read your message board and feel I have to say to 1 or 2 of the Accy heads....ROME WASN'T BUILT IN A DAY!!!

Keep the faith, and I can't wait to get another 6 points off you next season!!! :) (joke).

Hey Elton...your town made the evening news over here (Sat night)..they interviewed the Consevative Party boss in Burys' main street-something to do with local body elections.

i met plenty of stanley fans in the pub(crown) and they were all very talkative and friendly, the way footy should be, i just wish you could have more fans, were have the extra 1,000 fans you had from last season gone? see you next season!

I think they were at Ewood, watching football - unlike us! But never mind, it was a good Lancashire derby with a a cracking atmosphere. One day there'll be a roof on the away end to make things even more inviting!
