John Miles on the move. . .
This gave me a giggle this afternoon, (and I'm still giggling now!!!) John Miles . . . Hot Property!!!! :D
Miles set for Stanley exit | Accrington | English League Two | Football News from TEAMtalk and then this was on sky :- Accrington chief executive Robert Heys has revealed the club have had “a number of enquiries” for midfielder John Miles. Miles, 26, spent the second half of last season on loan at MK Dons and the League Two champions are thought to be one of the parties interested in the former Liverpool trainee. Miles arrived at the Fraser Eagle Stadium from Macclesfield - where he had also played under Dons boss Paul Ince - last summer and Heys admits he could be on his way. He said: “We have had a number of enquiries with regard to John Miles since he returned to us from his loan spell at MK Dons. “We will just have to wait and see what happens over the next few weeks.” <!-- / message --> <!-- sig --> |

I have a funny feeling the words 'Mutual Consent' will be here as well. Surely no-one will pay for him, so we'll just agree to cancel his contract so he can move on, without any penalty to us. |
Re: John Miles on the move. . .
Just an explanatory word to anybody from another club who may be reading this thread -
Please disregard the above posts, as they are not serious, but are, rather, classic examples of the renowned Accy sense of humour. John Miles is, in fact, a extremely talented and highly motivated young man who would be an asset to any club he plays for. Sadly, we can no longer keep him, as he is obviously destined to play at a much higher level than ours, but he leaves with all our good wishes. Please could you pass this message on to your respective club managers and chairmen, while at the same time impressing upon them that we will obviously be looking for a fee that reflects the depth of talent to be found in this footballing gem! |

Here's John Miles as I really liked him Wyn !.......I really was surprised when he decided to try his luck as a Pro Footballer and predicted that he wouldn't get very far !. AND WAS I RIGHT ??.....'As a Midfielder he makes a damn fine singer'. Wouldn't be at all surprised to see him make a big comeback in 'the biz'... NB...Note tracks 4 & 5 on the Album !.... 'Slow Down'..... Boy, did he take his own advice !. and 'No hard feelings'...which there will certainly be when he is snapped up by someone.....ANYONE !!. ( Just a little late-night badinage from Alfred.E and me!!) and we're not at all worried ! |
