Aswad was up to league standard! He needs experience and that age he didnt! Most of his games he played for us you could tell he was a good standard especially his first one and his game at chester with two goals! A couple more years and he will be playing in League 1 at least!

I think we should try and get godwin back :)

itis in the Observer today that Barry has been offered a deal and they are awaiting a response. The saem article also says that we have approached Gary Roberts about a return. Eric seems to feel that Gary would be available for free/loan.

The stumbling block on both would undoubtedly be wages but if by some miracle we manage to re-sign these two then things are certainly looking up for next season.

Rubbish!!! Aswad lived off his Chester goals and got turned far too easily. Never played the simple pass and often dallied on the ball (Rochdale away). How he got picked ahead of Webb Ill never know.

"Need league experience?" - If you cant stand the heat get outta the kitchen. Good players adapt quickly to the level. This is a not a playskool creche - its the football League.

i think it would be a good move to bring them two players back even though i dont think gary would come back as much as i would like him to come back and team up with craney and mullin again, i think he would go somewhere higher! but good moves by the club.

pre-season looking even more better

Re: new players

Aswad is a **** poor player!!!!!!!

Anyone who was at Chesterfield away this season when he amazingly put his arm up for offside (from a Chesterfield throw in) will know that the lad will not make a pro footballer while he has a whole in his a**e!

I'm sure he is a nice kid but so what!!!!!!!!!
