Rochdale

I suppost someone should congratulate Rochdale on reaching Wembley. But it won't be me as, selfishly I'd rather they stayed in this league - and Stockport too please.

Perkins won't be playing. He was sent off again today.

Re: Rochdale

I'm with macca on this one, we need the away attendances from Rochdale and Stockport.

Re: Rochdale

Got to be amongst the longest suffering fans in the league, good for them to have a day at Wembley after all those years of being nowhere. Hope the fans all enjoy it.

Re: Rochdale

So, who would we prefer to stay down? I'll go for Stockport, as it's practically walking distance for me, plus some top-notch pubs in Edgeley. Wouldn't miss the stewards from either club, as they both seem to be power mad!

A shocking decision. If he appeals he must surely be allowed to play.

I thought he was a little short in the tackle - midgetness is no excuse for brutality

Despite liking the Rochdale away games, i wish them well at Wembley and hope that they do it, i know a few Dale fans so for them i want them to go up.

Would rather Dale went up selfishley as I have not been Stockport yet :)

Eh??? Rochdale out-footballed us in both games last season, especially in the second half of the away game. Stockport were a useful side, but really relied on the strength of Dickinson for virtually everything.

So a team finishing with 2 points more than the other is a better team by far ?

The team you've been slagging off all season finished a massive 9 points better off than the team next to bottom who got relegated. Why did you spend so much time whinging when there was such a massive gulf in class :)

I'd rather Rochdale stay down...

I can't stand them and would love to see them suffer yet another year in this league... sinister I know:dflam:

Re: Rochdale

Rochdale to stay down. In spite of the crap stewards Rochdale is a far better away day than Stockport with its seats bolted to an open terrace. Much better atmosphere from our fans at Rochdale. One day we might get a result there too!

Re: Rochdale

better organised team stockport . plus hate stockports away end and rochdale is nearest to us . should it be spotlanddave instead of lancsturd ? sorry I mean lancsdave

Wynonie Harris 25-05-2008 14:02

Re: Rochdale

Whatever the shortcomings of the Railway End at Edgeley Park, there's better pubs at Stockport...the Bobby Peel and a whole load more on Edgeley's main shopping street.

He's obviously had the silent treatment in the Whalley Arms and he's looking to take it out on somebody with his usual withering verbal put-downs and dazzling displays of incisive wit.

Not the result I wanted...all those great pubs in Edgeley. :( Never mind, there's a decent watering hole called the Cemetery about 10 minutes' walk from Spotland.
