and that's for a knockout that is notorious for its crap crowds. A proper cup match against the Tangerine ones would fill the ground, as would Leeds

Carling Cup; last season's format
Round 1 split north/ south and seeded; no Premiership clubs ie: Accy guaranteed tie v Championship or high finishing 1st Div in the north; eg: Burnley, PNE, Leeds, Carlisle, Sheff Utd NOT QPR, Reading. Round 2 Open round with non European Prem teams in; ie BRFC and West Ham, Newcastle possibilities!! All 1 off games, no replays!! I guess the format will be same again this year. Also 2 games live on Sky!! |
