'COUNTDOWN !' 65...64...63...etc.

65 !!! No, it's nothing to do with season Ticket Sales !, but rather the number of days remaining until that 'magic' Saturday when, whether we love or hate Coley, 'the Reds' will emerge from their pre-season cocoon to fly once more in the heady skies of League 2 !. ( Before some sharp-eyed pedant reminds me, it will be 63 days if I discount today and the Saturday in question..or 64 if I just exclude Today or Saturday th 9th....)
Carol and I both thought that it might be of interest if anyone with a bit of news to share, or an opinion to express about the day in question,. or just a bit of banter to get off their chest, might like to take up the 'COUNTDOWN' as the days pass by !.....
SO...if anyone can post a bit of something for day '64' then
let's have it....( DM included!)
My thoughts for day 65 revolved around a fantasy ( not one of 'those'!) where J.J.Okocha having been snapped up from Hull City was spraying pin-point passes and bending unsavable free kicks at the FES, and we fans were loving it!...So much so, I,ve added him to my 'Wish List'.

WHAT WILL DAY 64 BRING ???....I WONDER !

but Alfred.E. reckons that inside that young 'Conference'Striker there is a star League Forward trying to get out !!
It'll be interesting to see if Andy can fulfil this potential, whilst keeping his somewhat volatile disposition under control !.:confused:

I fairly feel sorry for Mangan as he will no doubt be expected to fill the void left by Stuart Fleetwoods inevitable departure. Big shoes to fill Andy.

Accrington boss John Coleman admits the League Two play-off final whetted his appetite for success next season.
Stockport beat north-west rivals Rochdale 3-2 at Wembley last month to secure promotion to League One and Coleman was full of admiration for their achievements.
The Stanley manager told the Accrington Observer: "Watching that game at Wembley certainly whets the appetite and makes you want to win games.
"They have young, hungry players and that's what we want.
"I do believe if we get the right players in, the ones we want, then I can't see why we won't have a good season."

Chester City are hopeful of completing the double capture of free agents Eddie Johnson and Anthony Barry.
Striker Johnson and midfielder Barry have been told they will not be offered new contracts by Bradford City and Yeovil Town respectively and Chester chairman Stephen Vaughan has revealed his club's interest.
"We've offered them both terms and it is the best we can put forward," he told the Chester Chronicle.

"Hopefully they'll accept.".

Hopefully 'HE' won't !!.....any news????
