Carling Cup

On fixtures list, fishy site states Wolves match 15.00 kickoff. Anyone know if this is correct? Usually evening kick offs, I thought.

As it's a Tuesday, mid-week game, then it's obviously a mistake. It'll be an evening kick-off.

Maybe for TV or at the request of the police

Nothing as grand as TV I'm afraid. It's simply to try and maximise attendance because Burnley are at home the same day. I dare say there may have been a police request as well because both games are Lancashire derbies.

It's to stop Stanley reducing our gate. Thing is we are a very christian town so can't play on Sundays so Stanley have helped us out ;)
