john.
just a quick question.last year there was 49 players in the stanley supporters league.
it looks to me like it will be a maximum of 20 this year.
is that your reading of the situation as well.
good luck to everyone this season.

No don't think so Bryn...we may still have 40 + but eveyone goes into a seperate head to head league against other people from other leagues-thats restricted to 20. Our STANLEY SUPPORTERS LEAGUE will still be an accumulation of weekly points as per last season.
..SPORTAL ran a head to head league last year restricted to 20 teams. It was great but this site with its Head to Head is better., plus you have the league we had last time..2 for the price of 1.

Oggy's pub team in and ready to defend its title, or was it just a fluke? ;)

Highly recommended, adds a whole new level of frustration to the beautiful game. :)

Last chance for some of you who competed last season but haven't joined up as yet...

Fantasy Premier League - a Fantasy Football Game for the Barclays Premier League then upon completion of your team selection and when it asks you to join a Private League, you enter this code 51506-14458 and that'll make you a member of the Stanley Supporters league. C'MON its good stuff..

Excuse me, I was one of those forenamed people, I have been an Accy fan for 5+ years and am known to a few.

I have only just found out about the league and didn't know that I would start at the top as seen as i'm not even top in my main league.

Would I have been taken out if not 1st.

I demand a recount

Re: Fantasy Premier League 2008-09

Sorry Mr Matthew, but the Dingle made me do it.. he said in a PM he'ld send his big sisters hubby (recently arrived here in Godzown) up to 'sort me out' if I didn't fix it...sorry.Plus there was a little bit of ethics involved as technically it was intended to be a closed shop after the season started.the Dingle is more than happy for you to go round to his and 'sort it' if you prefer.
Of course, you could post me a "league deposit" and that could get things going... :)
