Predictions for Port Vale
 

Next game I need your predictions for is next Saturdays away fixture at recently relegated Port Vale. New ground - new team - for us. They made a great start on the road to bouncing straight back to League 1 by managing to pull off a 3-1 win at troubled Luton yesterday who were also relegated with them at the end of last season. How do you think we will do down at Vale Park? Will it be a valient 3 points for the reds? Deadline is kick off which is this Saturday, 16th August 2008 at 15:00BST....

Hi, Vale fan here comes in peace!!

Just reading through your predictions for sat. TO be honest people, Vale park will be a fortress this season as we have our highest season ticket sales (over 6k) and their is a massive buzz around the place. We have some good new signings who have done well in pre season and at Luton yesterday!

I do think Acc will be on the end of a battering (poss 4-0) as the momentum and feeling is very high!

Hope you guys bring a good support, as I feel you will need it!

5-1 to Port Vale and the one we get will be an own goal. Sorry guys, but obviously I do hope I am wrong, but after Saturdays pathetic performance and a possible thrashing at Wolves, I cannot see how we can win.

Valiants 3-0 Stanley, but I think it'll be a closer game than the score suggests, think you'll put up a good show, we were a shambles last year, but half of that deadwood has been chopped (thank god), so were now a pretty new side, players still bedding in.

Hello Stanley, Poet Vale fan here in peace, I have to say that most of you don't look much like a optomistic bunch!? I think the Vale are in for a good season, the defence MUST be transformed from last season, 16 corners conceeded at Luton but only one goal conceeded! Hope PLEANTY of you are comming tomorrow? Second best ground [and hopefully team]! behind Bradford, 6,500 ST's sold, should be a great atmosphere and if we do well we'll top 10,000 later in the season when the likes of Shrewsbury and Bradford come to town. AFTER tomorrow, all the best for the season, my prediction is 4-1 to the Vale. [Sorry]!

going by the stats from last season and that your away form was better than your home form ill say vale are going to have there work cut out!
with us been relegated recently- most teams will fear us as a bigger team etc so will come and put all players behind the ball and try and hit us on the break!

I'm happy that the first game played since I joined your forum was a win! Although I did feel it in my bones we would win!
