Re: tonight v Tranmere Rovers

Ah well, lets concentrate on the league and the FA Cup, or even the Lancashire cup. :)

DAV007 02-09-2008 21:26

Re: tonight v Tranmere Rovers

The team did ok tonight without really ever threatening a strong tranmere defence.

Tranmeres goal had an element of luck to it.

Ourt best 2 chances came at the start of the second half

Worrell is not a winger, he is a central midfielder.
John Miles is not winger, hes a ?

Well play Captain Cav who did well out of position.

Jamie Clarke was poor again.

Overall a 5/10. In truth we lost to a better side, but I felt with a better balance in the team we could have won that. We never put tranmere under pressure.

Re: tonight v Tranmere Rovers

we could do with some sort of cup run

Coley says we are capable of going far in the comp

then we rest some of our better players and play people like Oniwotsit who couldn't come on as a sub when we were losing in the league

Grimps 03-09-2008 10:38

Re: tonight v Tranmere Rovers

we did very well but just not put one away cav was man of match for me. and one that should be drop is miles cant run with ball and shots at flags :mosher:
