Re: Observer

mullin not going to Rochdale

its not on the website yet but no doubt will be soon. Basically Rochdale have offered a 5 figure sum and we have turned them down. They wanted to pay some in January and some more at the end of the season, Mr no teeth said ****** off

He was in January and he probably will be next January if the price is right.

Re: Observer

He's never been 'for sale'. There's a difference between accepting a bid for a player and a player being up for sale.

Tin Monkey 31-10-2008 12:28

Re: Observer

Eric said that all the players were 'for sale' if the price was right, so actually Mullin and all the others are constantly for sale.

shakermaker 31-10-2008 12:41

Re: Observer

None of them are on the transfer list though are they. Just because every player has a realistic price at our club doesn't mean that they're all up for sale.

Re: Observer

So you dont think eric telling the world that all his players are available at the right price is putting them on sale? ...... tomato tomato

He isn't "for sale" is as much as we don't want to sell him, but if someone offers silly money then he's gone.

Re: Observer

Mullin could of gone shrewsbury last season but he didnt because he personally didnt want to. Mullin is a legend at the club and fans and with his brother now at stanley you would think again he would want to leave. I hope Eric doesnt forces him out just because of cash as i wouldnt think its fair with the service Mullin has gave through all these years!

could be wrong but doubt if he can force him out cos of his contract? reality is though, any little club gets an offer they think reasonable they have to accept it, then its down to the player, as far as i know.

Re: Observer

Other thing is I am sure that Ronnie Moore would have been attracted to lend us Terry Gornell in the knowledge that he'd have Paul Mullin to play along side.

Would teams be as keen to lend us their promising players if he weren't there?
