|
Re: Dagenham Match
Greetings from a very wet and windy Southern Spain - come Stanley lets keep the sequence of never having lost at Dagenham going please
|
Re: Dagenham Match
Good morrning/afternoon my fellow Stanley supporters :)
|
Re: Dagenham Match
3:04 - Kenny Arthur came out for a Daggers corner while John Miles free kick was well wide
|
Re: Dagenham Match
How do fellow exiles. Rather gutted at Richardson not being given a place in the sixteen.
Come on Accy. |
Re: Dagenham Match
Any radio coverage?
|
Re: Dagenham Match
Not sure about that shaker, but you could try the BBC for the Dagenham area.
Another point, should we try and keep Rostyn griffiths for another month? Personally I think he has done alright for us since he came and I think he would be worth another month and yes I am disappointed Leam is not in the 16, If he is fit again, he is worth being a sub at least for his defensive talent. |
Re: Dagenham Match
Chris King was the first Stanley player to test goalie Tony Roberts with a swirling 25-yard strike which the keeper dived at and caught
|
Re: Dagenham Match
4:13 [Standby] John Miles just hit the post with a rasping shot from the left hand side of the area - unlucky for Reds
|
Re: Dagenham Match
John Miles - hit post!

Re: Dagenham Match

Re: Dagenham Match
Not a lot happening at the moment. Stanley have had a lot of free kicks around the Daggers box but have been unable to capitalise while Kenny Arthur hasn;t had much to do. Whistle blown a lot by ref Dean Whitestone

Re: Dagenham Match
From Ilford Recorder Title Text to go here
3.35pm: Has to be said, that Stanley are playing the better football today in what is now a miserable downpour at Victoria Road. They are managing to string a number of passes together, while Daggers are playing long balls down the flanks, with precious little joy. |
Re: Dagenham Match
ian craney just scored for huddersfield
|
Re: Dagenham Match
Goals from David Brown for Barrow v Forest Green (Mangan on bench), Anthony Gerrard for Walsall and Ian Craney for Huddersfield.
|
Re: Dagenham Match
Jimmy Ryan shot was deflected against post
|
Re: Dagenham Match
HT- 0-0. Stanley have had the better chances, hitting the post twice through John Miles and Jimmy Ryan at a wet and windy Victoria Park. Stanley's defence have done well against a lively strike force. There does seem goals in it in the second half...
|
Re: Dagenham Match
Hi everyone !
Sounds as if the weather is as bad in Dagenham as it is here in Berkshire - lashing down ! At least we have got to halftime level - here's hoping we can pile on the pressure in the second half and come away with 3 points. :D |
Re: Dagenham Match
Oh well..coffee time then.
|
Re: Dagenham Match
Weather sounds real poxy over England and poor OZZY's part of Spain...me, I'll be dodging the gamma rays at first light...

Football 365 says 2-0 to Morecambe, mind you they missed WBAs first goal...
|
Re: Dagenham Match
accy observer.... it is still goalless.Paul Mullin missed a great chance for Stanley. Phil Edwards shot was spilled by Roberts and Mullin rushed in to an empty goal but the keeper pulled off a superb save to deny him
|
Re: Dagenham Match
Typical..just got rid of MIDO from fantasy team and he finally goes and scores... :(

Re: Dagenham Match
tranmere at home next week lets see if we can win and get some much needed cash so hopefully we can keep hold of mullin
|
Re: Dagenham Match
accy observer....Nil nil - all over. Must be a long time since Stanley had two draws in a row. The Reds hit the woodwork twice and Paul Mullin missed a great chance. Daggers threatened at end but Reds defence held firm. A reasonable point.

well a point won rather than 2 lost I say. these 0-0 scorelines are getting a bit more often. lets hope that the shooting boots are on next saturday against Tranmere.
See you all next week back at the FES - have a good week all. Have a safe bonfire night all |

Re: Dagenham Match
taken from LET:
ACCRINGTON Stanley chairman Eric Whalley has admitted that they may have to let Paul Mullin leave if any club improves on the £50,000 bid Rochdale had turned down last week. Cash-strapped Stanley accepted a £75,000 bid from Shrewsbury for their star striker in January, only for Mullin to declare that he wanted to ended his career at the Fraser Eagle Stadium. Stanley boss John Coleman is keen to keep his vice captain, though, and the £50,000 offer was dismissed out of hand before the striker had been consulted. Stanley chairman Eric Whalley said: “They enquired about him but that’s as far as it went. “There was no deal for the amount they offered, although I was amazed they offered that much for a 34-year-old. “It’s late in his career and he’s only a year into a two-and-a-half year contract, so he’ll be staying unless a side come in with a better offer. “But everyone is for sale at the right price. I’d sell the whole team if I could! “With my chairman’s hat on I’d take the money, but from a football point of view Paul is a leader and he’s very popular here |
Re: Dagenham Match
accy observer..John Coleman was reasonably happy with a point. His side did have the better chances but Daggers did also put Reds under pressure. He praised his defence and was pleased, overall, with his sides performance. He also thanked the travelling fans
|
Re: Dagenham Match
accy observer..Coley also said he is in negotiations with Blackburn for Rostyn Griffiths to play in FA Cup next week and hopeful Kallum Higginbotham will play against Tranmere
|
Re: Dagenham Match
